  This park is beautiful and the best in the borough in my opinion. Lovely and well kept environment which is to be expected on the north side of Ilford. Bowling greens and boating facilities along with a respectable play area for the kids and seating for adults. I think it could do with some more security as there are often older lads lurking around the kids play area which can be intimidating to younger children and mothers. Also you can get lost quite easily so some added signage wouldn't go a miss. Overall it is still the best park around the IG1 area and benefits from tennis and basketball courts.

  The annual outdoor play is really worth going to. There are good play areas for children, pretty gardens and a cafe in the walled garden that does proper coffee. The park is pleasant to walk round in all seasons. You can also do a 5 km run on Saturday mornings
