  You never know what care your loved ones will receive until they are placed into your chosen care home. You hear too many horror stories !! I have to say that my father has now been in this care home for over 2 weeks and can only say I am so grateful to all the staff for the care and consideration they have shown to my father. From the moment the manager, Mary, who came to assess my father for palliative care to settling him in. All the staff are very caring. They also arranged for their GP to take my father on. The care is second to none. There are qualified nurses 24 hrs a day to monitor medication and the staff even hand feed my father to ensure he eats. Nothing is too much trouble. You can access your loved ones 24 hrs a day. If there is a vacancy, I suggest you grab it with both hands !!!
